Teaching has always been its own reward. Being able to inspire students, to
communicate knowledge to them, and to contribute thus to the education of
society should constitute a teacher's objectives. There is great value in having the background, ability, and interest to teach a wide spectrum of physics courses. This breadth enables one to develop perspectives in physics that stress the unity of physical concepts and tools.
