1) This list will be updated every Monday.  Homework (HWK) will be graded at random.
I encourage you to attempt the recommended problems on your own.  A Solutions Manual (Blue book)
is available in the Science & Engineering Library (SEL) for your reference and selected copying.
Please make it a habit to visit the front desk of SEL and to look at the display board in the Regner Hall
(hallway) frequently for messages.

2) The problem session (P-158-002) is highly recommended even though it is optional; students
enrolled in it do better in tests and exams. In these sessions, I will use problems from Physics Exam
Files II and III (Publ: Engineering Press, Inc.) available in SEL (Yellow books) and from
Giancoli's book. Remember, hard work always pays off! I will hold the help session in Rm 114,
on Wednesdays, 7 to 8 p.m., as you all decided!

3) Mid-Term I and II and Final Exams will be comprehensive and carry 100 points each.
Class tests will last one hour and carry 50 points each. HWK will be graded randomly.

4) Your grade will be based on your best score in 3 class tests (CT), random graded HWK
(upto ~ 10%) and one of the two Mid- Term (MT) exams as well as the Final Examination,
held on dates stated below.

5) You may take quizzes on the web (http://www.prenhall.com/giancoli/) to test your understanding
of the key concepts in each chapter, at your convenience, using your favorite computer connected
to the internet.

6) Complete course review will be on Mon, Apl 29, in time for Mid-Term II.
