Ms. Jensen performs a variety of departmental administrative duties, including assisting the internal and external customers of the department, processing requests for goods and services, mail distribution, coordinating shipping via DHL Express and UPS. She is also the contact for copier accounts and maintains the departmental contact listing.

Procedures

Request to Purchase Goods and Services

Mailing Services

  • Mail delivery and pickup is scheduled for 8:30 am and 1:00 pm.
  • Contact Jaye for assistance with special requests. For example, return receipt requested, priority mail, etc.

DHL Express (formerly Airborne Express)

  • Provide the contact, address, mailing preference (next day air, second day air, etc.) and Index Code for billing.
  • Complete a Commercial Invoice (PDF) for international packages.
    • Attach the original and four copies (all signed separately) to the DHL waybill.
    • The Commercial Invoice does not apply to overnight letters.
  • Give the information to Jaye before 2:30 pm to schedule a pickup.

UPS Services

  • Provide the contact, address, mailing preference (next day, second day, etc.) and Index Code for billing.
  • Provide the weight and insurance amount (if applicable) for the package.
  • Give the information to Jaye before noon to schedule a pickup.
