Chemical Spills

If a chemical spill occurs, don't panic.

REMEMBER, it is always a good idea to locate, open up, review the contents, and be quite familiar with the spill kits LONG BEFORE YOU EVER ENCOUNTER A SPILL. DO IT NOW.

1) Contain the spill (use the Spill kit provided in the room). This is a light blue and white box about 12" x 14", with a cardboard handle and the word HAZORB on the front panel.

2) Evacuate the room

3) Contact Gary Harrison, and SRS immediately to perform a clean-up. SRS will need to know WHAT has been spilled, WHERE the spill is located (ROOM NUMBERS ONLY), WHO you are, and whether you have contained the spill or not.
