Chemical Training

1) All personnel should seek training covering the chemicals which they will be using, BEFORE attempting to use those materials. SHEA should be contacted for training classes you feel you will need. Remember, this could be in such simple tasks as soldering wires together, since almost all forms of solder and soldering flux can be considered hazardous (and don't forget the fumes and smoke this produces). SRS

2) If SRS does not have a class available for your specific request, please see Gary Harrison for clarification and/or assistance.

3) DO NOT "Take a chance" on using a material just because someone else tells you it is ok, or that you do not need to be trained in something that simple.
