Physics 308L - Junior Lab

Syllabus

Lecture:  One per week at 1:00 to 1:50 on Monday in room 184 of Physics and Astronomy

Laboratory: 2:00 to 4:50 Monday and Wednesday - Students must attend one section or the other

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 to 3 pm

Required text:    Building Scientific Apparatus 
                            by J. H. Moore, C. C. Davis and M. A. Coplan

Recommended text:    The Art of Electronics by Horowitz and Hill

Laboratory Notebook: Maintain a bound notebook with numbered pages

Midterm Exam: Submit a written report following standard guidelines

Final Exam: Submit a working LabVIEW VI for collecting Fowler-Nordheim data and a written report
