Homework Assignments XXIV - XXXV , prior to the second Exam

There is a homework assignment due (almost) every class period!
If on paper, they should be turned in at the alphabetically-labeled box at the front of the classroom, before class begins!
If on WebAssign, they are due at 1 A.M. of the night in question.
So a WebAssign(ment) due on, say, Friday, is due no later than 1 hour after Midnight on that Friday, i.e., at 1 A.M. Saturday morning.

Third Bonus Problem:

Please consider a rectangular loop of wire, of side lengths a and b, and carrying a current i. The axis of the loop is a direction perpendicular to the plane of the loop, passing through the midpoint of that loop. At a distance z along that axis, choose a point we will call P.
Determine the direction and magnitude of the magnetic field at the point, P, caused by the rectangular current loop.
Also show that this result is consistent with the result requested in Problem 30.15P, which considers a square loop, and also with the result given in Equation (30-29), appropriate for an arbitrarily-shaped loop but very far away, along its axis.

The problem is due in one week, i.e., on 13 November.
