Discoveries in Nuclear Physics

Presented by Filomena Nunes

Over the last decades, there have been tremendous discoveries in nuclear physics with many more to come. In this presentation I will talk about a selected group of discoveries related to nuclear structure and reactions and extrapolate about where the next big discoveries lie. I will highlight the important role of rare isotopes in these quests and emphasize the connection with astrophysics.
